Lightmeadow looked at the moon her pelt was glowing in the moonlight. She flinched as she heard a rustling in the bushes. She looked behind her and instantly saw her sister, Silverfeather. "Hello, Silverfeather." Lightmeadow mewed "how is Dawnpool?". Silverfeather was also the medicine cat "her cuts are still bleeding but they'll still heal" replied Silverfeather. Lightmeadow sighed she was to be the Clan's new leader for their former leader died. "You will make a great leader Lightmeadow" Silverfeather purred. Lightmeadow sighed "I hope I made the right choice for deputy" Lightmeadow mewed. "I think Whiteleaf was the obvious choice" meowed Silverfeather. Yes but-" Lightmeadow paused as she saw Silverfeather's fur bristling and Lightmeadow heard the same thing" Silverfeather looked at her "The badgers are coming Lightmeadow" Silverfeather growled "we must hope that our warriors will fight their best when the time comes."
